Pipavav - As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering efficient and compliant services, we would like to remind you of an important regulatory requirement concerning the evacuation of Direct Port Delivery (DPD) containers, informs a recent advisory of APM Terminals Pipavav.  

As per Indian Customs Notification No. 161/2016-Cus dated 29.11.2016, and subsequent advisories, all import containers cleared under the DPD scheme must be evacuated from the terminal within 48 hours of discharge. For your reference, please find attached
