AGARTALA : Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, recently said that the Tripura Government has moved in a direction to become a multinational trade and logistics hub for Northeast India very soon.

He mentioned the upcoming Agartala-Akhaura Rail Link and Maitri Bridge over the River Feni in South Tripura, which, once operational, will turn Tripura into the gateway to Southeast Asia, boosting trade and employment opportunities not only for the people of the state but also for potential enterprises in the region.

Reflecting on the initiatives taken since the establishment of the BJP-led Government in 2018, Dr Saha pointed out that developments in infrastructure, communication, public welfare, health, education, industry, sports, agriculture, and culture have gotten a boost, and multiple opportunities have opened. And, his Government has relentlessly been working to maintain law and order to ensure peace and harmony.
