SMP Kolkata expanding logistics and infrastructure support to Nepal

KOLKATA : Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata taken a significant step towards bolstering Nepal-India trade. Shri Rathendra Raman, Chairperson, SM Port_Kolkata, welcomed a high-level Nepalese delegation, led by the Secretary of Agriculture, Govt of Nepal, Dr. Govind Prasad Sharma.

SMPK is the preferred port for Nepal cargo, with a projected fertilizer handling of up to 0.5 million tons this Financial Year.

The Chairman also elaborated upon expanding logistics and infrastructure support for Nepal-bound shipments.
