
VANCOUVER : The containership new building market has accelerated notably in 2024 and at a very high pace over the last couple of weeks. Seaspan Corporation has given a large order for a series of 27 dual-fuel vessels in shipbuilding.
Parent company Atlas revealed a new building programme in a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission that covers ships ranging in capacity from 9,000 TEU up to 17,000 TEU.
