…Discussion on “Cold Chain Logistics: Indian perspective & showcasing best practices in Antwerp (Europe)”
MUMBAI : The Port of Antwerp Alumni Association (PA3)in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) and supported by the Port of Antwerp, is organizing a panel discussion titled, “Cold chain logistics: Indian perspective & showcasing best practices in Antwerp (Europe)”on Tuesday, 4th of December at the Hotel Holiday Inn International Airport Hotel in Mumbai.
Post its formal establishment in 2017, the aim of PA3 has been to constantly build on and reinforce the Antwerp Experience. With this objective in mind, two workshops have previously been organized to expose the network to global best practices in shipping, logistics and maritime.
In its third edition, the intention is to bring together key players in the perishables supply chain for discussions on varying topics such as cold chain challenges, investment and initiatives, value-added logistics and present a comparison of practices in India versus Europe, through perspectives of an eminent line of panelists.
Mr. Ben Van Wolput - Managing Director of Antwerp Cold Stores will be the Antwerp/Europe expert to share insights of cold chain logistics practices in that region. He will be joined by the Indian industry representatives such as Mr. Rustom Irani - President of The Sea Food Exporters Association, Mr. Chaitanya Rajwade - Vice President - Agribusiness of Mahindra Agri Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Nitin Agarwal - Managing Director of Eurofruits and Mr. Ramesh Babu - Managing Director of Sea Shell Logistics.
