
New Delhi - National Highways Authority of India, NHAI and Konkan Railway Corporation Limited has signed an MoU to strengthen integrated infrastructure development in New Delhi. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways informed that the MoU aims to enhance coordination in road and rail planning, including development of rail-cum-road bridges, tunnels, multi-modal logistics parks and inter-modal hubs, especially in challenging terrains. It will also provide for sharing technical expertise, safety audits, training and use of advanced technologies. The MoU will be valid for five years and is expected to boost connectivity and logistics efficiency.
