NEW DELHI: The Government has constituted a New National Shipping Board for a period of two years.
The National Shipping Board shall consist of the following members: — 1. Dr. Malini V Shankar, Vice Chancellor, IMU, Chennai, Chairperson.
2. Shri Rahul Modi, representative of Coastal Container Transporters’ Association (CCTA), Member.
3. Additional Director General of Shipping, Mumbai.
4. Joint Secretary, (Shipping), In-charge of MA Wing, Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways, Member.
5. A representative of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (not below the rank of Joint Secretary)
6. A representative of Indian Navy (Not below the rank of Director), Member.
7. A representative of Indian Coast Guard (Not below the rank of Director), Member.
8. Shri Abdulgani Serang, representative of National Union of Seafarers of India (NUSI), Member.
9. Shri Amar Singh Thakur, representative of The Maritime Union of India (MUI), Member.
10. Shri Anil Laxman Devli, CEO, representative of Indian National Ship-owners’ Association (INSA), Member.
11. Shri Aditya Suklikar, President, representative of Indian Coastal Conference Shipping Association (ICCSA), Member.
12. Mr. Prashant Seth, Director, representative of Federation of Indian Exports Organization (FIEO), New Delhi, Member.
13. Shri Shantanu Bhadkamkar, representative of Association of Multi-modal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI), Mumbai, Member.
14. Mr. Arun Sharma, Executive Chairman, Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), Mumbai, Member.
