RIO DE JANEIRO : The Thursday 14 November 2024 marked the end of the three-day WCO Technology Conference and Exhibition held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil under the theme “Digital Frontiers: Customs Embracing Innovation with Traditional and New Partners”.
In their closing remarks, Cláudia Thomaz, Undersecretary for Customs Administration, Secretariat of the Federal Revenue of Brazil, and Ian Saunders, Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), thanked all those involved in the Conference and outlined some of the key takeaways from this event.
