New Delhi - The Commerce Ministry will hold a series of consultations with exporters soon as part of its drive to broaden India’s export basket and expand its footprint in global markets.
The meetings, slated over the next two to three days, will include industry representatives from key sectors such as chemicals, gems and jewellery, and textiles. Discussions are expected to focus on strategies to reduce dependence on a limited set of products and destinations, while identifying opportunities in new geographies.
