Tuticorin - The Port has handled 17.89 million tonnes of cargo, including 3,61,991 TEUs of containers, up to August in the financial year 2025–26. This reflects a 2.40% growth in overall cargo traffic and a 7.72% growth in container traffic compared to the 17.47 million tonnes of cargo and 3,36,036 TEUs handled during the same period of the previous financial year 2024–25. With this achievement, the Port continues to set new benchmarks in efficiency, connectivity, and service excellence, strengthening its position as a trusted gateway for global trade.
