Visakhapatnam - Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) handled 50 million tonnes of cargo in 196 days during the financial year 2026–27, reaching the milestone on 13 October 2026. The latest performance marks a reduction in the time taken to reach the threshold compared with the previous two financial years.
In FY2025–26, the port took 213 days to handle 50 million tonnes, while it required 224 days to reach the same level in FY2024–25. The latest achievement represents a 17-day improvement over the previous financial year and a 28-day reduction compared with FY2024–25.
