Tuticorin - V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOC Port), Tuticorin, has achieved a major operational milestone by handling 30 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo, underscoring its growing importance in India’s maritime trade landscape.

The milestone was commemorated at a special gathering held in the presence of Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, Shri Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Chairperson, along with officers from the Traffic Department and senior officials of the port authority.
