MUMBAI: Tulsidas Khimji Pvt. Ltd. (TK), one of India’s oldest Customs Broker & Freight Forwarder and now evolved into global logistics services through PAN India presence and worldwide network have crossed another milestone in their long journey by being certified as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) by the Central Board of Excise and Customs.
The AEO certificate is another feather in their cap and is issued to Logistics Operators in recognition and appreciation of their commitment to secure the international supply chain and in compliance with the WCO’s SAFE Framework of Standards.
In the year 1895, TK’s Founder, Late Shri Tulsidas in his early twenties started a firm in his own name with a table space in a reputed bank with goodwill and trust as his capital. The firm was named “Tulsidas Khimji” and the main business of the firm was to act as a controller of cotton on behalf of the bank.
TK is a member of WCA - the world’s largest and most powerful network of independent freight forwarders having members in over 190 countries in 820 cities and ports around the world.
Now with the AEO Certification, customers who are AEO Certified will benefit from their being part of the AEO programme, which is currently recognised in over 150 countries worldwide.
