MUMBAI: Transformation, In perpetuity, remains at the core of heart of Mr. Ramesh S. This Transformation Journey of the Transworld Group began way back in 1977 by (Late) Mr. R. Sivaswamy with the opening of Shipping Agency business in erstwhile Bombay. After four decades of this transformative journey, the group backed by its consolidated offerings, years of experience and world class expertise, offers end-to-end Shipping and Logistics solutions defined by reliability and efficiency.
 
In 2017, the Transworld Group celebrated its 40th Anniversary in India with the Theme “New Horizon – Together at 40” which demonstrates nostalgia as well as the spirits to set new limits for the future.
 
On this auspicious occasion, Mr. Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan emphasized that, “Our Vision is to be the preferred partner for Global Logistics Solutions, committed to the Highest standards of Excellence.”

AVANA – A NEW VENTURE FROM THE HOUSE OF TRANSWORLD  GROUP
 
In its four decades old Transformational journey, the latest entity from the house of Transworld Group is Avana Logistek, a technology-enabled logistics company currently operating in India and Middle East.
 
A happy marriage between Shreyas Relay Systems and Balaji Shipping Lines gave birth to this new entity Avana Logistek. This new entity aspires to be a Global Shipping and Logistics service provider based firmly on founded pillars of Coastal Shipping, Liner Services, Cold Chain Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution. 
 
TRANSWORLD GROUP & ORACLE JOINS HANDS FOR ITS DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PROJECT "INNOVATION IN MOTION"
 
As Transworld Group celebrates its 40th successful year, the company also signed an agreement with Oracle India and KPIT to help them develop an integrated technology platform.
 
With Customer Centrality as its core value and in line with the philosophy of customer first approach, Transworld Group of companies comprising of Avana Logistek Ltd, Shreyas Shipping & Logistics Ltd, Transworld Feeders FZCO, BSL Freight Solutions Pvt Ltd, Transworld Logistics FZE and other Group companies, through this project will leverage technology enabled solutions and customer connect e-platforms to provide real-time information, swift business process and a digital customer interface. Additionally, the company will also be incorporating new emerging technologies like blockchain, adaptive intelligence and IoT, as they move forward on their digital journey and climb higher on customers value chain.

TRANSWORLD GROUP UNVEILS NEW IDENTITY TO ANNOUNCE ITS TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY AT “VALLI & SIVASWAMY MEMORIAL CONCERT”
 
In July 2018, the Transworld Group recently unveiled its new identity, with the statement “TRANSFORMATION IN MOTION”.
 
Presenting the new identity for the Transworld Group’s embarkment on this new transformational journey, Mr. Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan stated, “As a reflection of this transformative journey towards new and higher summits, I am pleased to launch our new corporate identity on this special day. Change with Evolution, Agility and Tenacity to handle dynamic situations is Transformation. Change is the stimulant for Growth. Where there is no Transformation, there is stagnancy.
 
Our new positioning statement - ‘Transformation In Motion’ is reflective of this philosophy. This new identity demonstrates our heritage and our unified approach to shape the our future stories of success… a renewed spirit that galvanises the group to set new milestones and pioneer change; as we remain true to our higher purpose of Delivering Prosperity.”
 
He further added, Our Corporate Responsibility initiatives that have been launched globally, spearheaded by Ms. Anisha Ramakrishnan, Director, Transworld Group , primarily focuses on Marine Environment, Health & Food security, Gender Equity, Education and Arts, in a sustainable and inclusive manner. We have tied up with various Governments and NGOs apart from the involvement of our staff members in these initiatives.
 
Ms. Anisha overlooks the Corporate Business Analytics, including operational efficiency, asset capacity optimization and customer acquisition and retention, and the Corporate Social Responsibility.
 
She comes with a Master of Science (MSc) Shipping, Trade & Finance from CASS Business School, City University London, Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in International Affairs, Minor in Business Administration and in Global Social Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University, Boston, and an Executive Program in Leading with Big Data Analytics from Northwestern University- Kellogg School of Management.
 
He further added, “Our people are our pillars and it is their efforts and dedication that makes Transworld what it is.”
 
A BOOK “THE GAME OF CHANGE” AUTHORED BY MRS. GEETA RAMAKRISHNAN LAUNCHED RECENTLY TO INSPIRE OTHERS IN THEIR TRANSFORMATION
 
The recent “Valli & Sivaswamy Memorial Concert” held in Mumbai last month witnessed the surprise launch of the book “The Game of Change” authored by Mrs. Geeta Ramakrishnan – Director, Transworld Group. Sharing few insights on the book, Mrs Geeta highlighted that this book will inspire the readers to reflect on the art of change, offering easy to use techniques to help implement the desired change in the areas of life.
 
WITH SUCCESSFUL TRANSFORMATION IN PROGRESS, ACCOLADES DO COME NATURALLY
 
In the latest edition of India Maritime Awards (IMA), held on 22nd June, 2018 at Mumbai, Mr. Ritesh Ramakrishnan was adjudicated as the “Face of The Future” for having played an indispensible role in transforming the Transworld Group in a short span of time. Further, Shreyas Shipping and Logistics won the “Coastal Service Operator of The Year,” Avana Logistek and Avana Global FZCO won the “NVOCC of The Year in Coastal Cargo and General Product” category respectively. 
 
Further Mr. Ritesh Ramakrishnan was also named as one of the “Top India Leaders : The Next Generation 2018” and “Top Indian Leaders 2017: The Next Generation” in 2018 and 2017 respectively by prestigious Forbes, Middle East besides being recognised as a “Global Next Generation Business Leader” in Lloyd List 2015.
 
More recently Mr. Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan, was felicitated with “Inspirational Leader Award by Republic TV at the Gulf Indian Leadership Summit and Awards 2018” held in Dubai in the presence of Shri Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Honourable Indian Minister of State for Youth Affair & Sports and Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting.
