Having forged its initial association with India earlier this year from Kolkata, SITC’s presence will now extend to Vizag and Chennai starting from September 10, 2023.

In the Indian sector, SITC will be represented by Eastern Liners Shipping Pvt. Ltd. (J M Baxi Group), an entity renowned for its expansive network spanning over 20 locations. Forging a New Shipping Consortium
SITC is joining the FIE1 service (Far East India East-Coast 1). This upcoming service, slated to be a weekly offering, boasts a port rotation encompassing Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Port Klang (West).

Beyond direct ports, their service will also cater to inland locations such as Bengaluru, Jajpur and Nepal, with a comprehensive exploration of additional inland destinations in North and Central India. The inception of this new shipping route underscores SITC’s commitment to enhancing connectivity in the maritime domain, facilitating more efficient trade, and contributing to the growth of global commerce.
