New Delhi - The Directorate General of Maritime Administration (DGMA), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, is pleased to inform that Shri Shyam Jagannathan, IAS, has assumed charge as the Director General of Maritime Administration (DGMA) with effect from 23 June 2026, pursuant to the Gazette Notification issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.

 Further, following the constitution of the Bureau of Port Security (BoPS) by the Government of India, Shri Shyam Jagannathan, IAS, has also assumed charge as the Director General, Bureau of Port Security (BoPS) with effect from 27 June . . .
