Secretary, MoPSW, deliberates with Major Ports to assess performance against Key Performance Indicators

New Delhi - Shri Vijay Kumar (IAS), Secretary, MoPSW, chaired a review meeting of Major Ports to assess performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the current financial year and the HR and Legal issues. The meeting examined key operational and financial parameters, including cargo traffic, vessel turnaround time, pre-berthing detention, container dwell time, berth productivity, and operating ratio. Emphasizing the importance of achieving annual targets, the Secretary urged all Major Ports to closely monitor performance, address operational bottlenecks, and implement timely measures to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
