Samudera Shipping, Tehama Shipping & KICT - Scaling new heights

GANDHIDHAM: Kandla International Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd. (KICT) handled the first Export-Import container vessel of IAGX Service, with mv. Victor 1809W.
 
mv. Victor 1809W berthed at KICT in the late hours of 25th February, 2018 and sailed on 26th February, 2018 with 291 TEUs.
 
The IAGX Service has come into being with the joint efforts of  Samudera Shipping and Tehama Shipping. The Port rotation of the service is KICT- Mundra- Hamad- Dammam- Umm Qasr. The service would also carry cargo to Shuwaikh and Shuaiba via Dammam on through basis.
 
mv. Victor 1809W called KICT under Samudera Shipping. She has an LOA of 210.86 mtrs & vessel capacity of 2745 TEUs. The next vessel mv. Hermes will reach KICT under Tehama Shipping, the ETA is 4th March 2018 and she has an LOA of 212.2 mtrs & vessel capacity of 2490 TEUs. 
 
On this occasion Mr. Amardeep Singh Parmar, Terminal Head, KICT congratulated Samudera Shipping  & Tehama Shipping for their support and showing their confidence in KICT.
 
Kandla International Container Terminal has completed a year of Terminal operations and has handled over 1,00,000 TEUs.
 
IAGX Service would help the terminal to stride towards further heights.
