KOLKATA: Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations In India (FFFAI) held elections of office bearers for the term 2015-17 on 28th September 2015 in Kolkata.
Mr. Samir Shah was elected unanimously as Chairman of FFFAI for the term 2015-17
Mr. Ashish Pednekar, Mr. A.V.Vijaykumar, Mr. Shankar Shinde, Mr. Sujit Chakraborthy, Mr. Sudhir Agarwal and Mr. S.Ramakrishna were elected as Vice Chairmen of FFFAI for the term 2015-17.
Mr. Amit Kamat was unanimously elected as Honorary Secretary of FFFAI for the term 2015-17.
Mr. Vinod Sharma was unanimously elected as Honorary Treasurer of FFFAI for the term 2015-17.
Mr. Debashis Dutta now becomes Immediate Past Chairman of FFFAI for the term 2015-17.
On the previous day, during the 52nd Annual General Meeting of FFFAI in Kolkata, the members of FFFAI appreciating the achievements and contributions of Mr. David Phillips - Chief Executive, Freight Systems Co. Ltd. (LLC) and Mr. Swapan Sadhan Bose - Founder, Ripley & Co. Stevedoring and Handling included their names in the prestigious 'FFFAI Hall of Fame”. FFFAI Hall of Fame was instituted in 2012 during the Golden Jubilee of FFFAI to recognise and appreciate the contributions and achievements of those individuals who have made the logistics fraternity and the Country proud. Prior to this, names of Mr. Arvind Parikh, Mr. Shashikiran Shetty and Mr. Tushar Jani have been included in the FFFAI Hall of Fame.
