SINGAPORE: PSA Singapore has been named “Best Container Terminal – Asia (over 4 million TEUs)”; while
PSA Antwerp also won “Best Container Terminal – Europe” at the 2022 Asian Freight, Logistics & Supply Chain Awards (AFLAS).
This marks the 32nd time PSA Singapore has bagged the award; and the fourth time for PSA Antwerp.
Mr Tan Chong Meng, Group CEO of PSA, said,
“Our commitment to service excellence and sustainable operations has once again been recognised by the industry. These awards – especially coming on the back of our recent milestone opening of Tuas Port in Singapore last week – reaffirm our efforts in investing in and operating world-class terminal facilities. PSA has also been actively working with customers and partners to offer sustainable supply chain solutions beyond the port, to help cushion continued disruptions amidst geo-political uncertainties, shifting trade patterns and the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I would like to express deepest gratitude to our customers and partners for their continued confidence in PSA; as well as to our staff, unions and management who have worked tirelessly as a team through these challenging times. We will continue to explore collaborative partnerships that may enable safer, more resilient and sustainable supply chains and trade across the world.”
Organised by maritime trade publication Asia Cargo News, the awards are designed to recognize leading service providers including air and shipping lines; airports and seaports; logistics, 3PLs and other associated industry professionals. Winning organisations are voted by service users.
The gala dinner awards ceremony was held at the JW Marriot Hotel Hong Kong on 7 September 2022.
