PARADIP: Chairman of Paradip Port Trust Rinkesh Roy will hold additional charge of Visakhapatnam Port Trust as its Chairman.
Present incumbent M.T. Krishna Babu’s term expired on May 11 on completion of his Central deputation for five years. According to an order issued by Director of Ministry of Shipping Sandeep Gupta, pending appointment of a regular Chairman by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet,
Mr. Roy will continue as the Chairman of VPT for six months or till further orders.
Mr. Krishna Babu, a 1993 batch IAS officer, said he would go back to the State Government to work at Amaravati.
