GANDHIDHAM: Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modiji virtually inaugurated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, Gandhidham constructed by Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla at a cost of Rs. 39 crore. In the presence of Shri Bhupendra Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister-Gujarat The foundation stone of this Convention Centre was laid earlier in 2017 by Shri Narendra Modiji.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Centre has a total seating capacity of approx 1200 people and accommodating 500 persons outside with various different facilities and amenities on offer.

While addressing the Nation at the inaugural ceremony of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, 

Hon’ble Prime Minister described the role of Kandla Port in adding growth to the national economy by handling substantially to the export-import Trade.

The inauguration was witnessed at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, Gandhidham in presence of DPA, Kandla Parivar along with Officials, Stakeholders, Trade Unions / Associates.
