HONG KONG : OOCL and Yang Ming Line have expanded their joint China-Pakistan Express (CPX) Service by adding a Direct call at Adani Hazira Container Terminal,  starting  from  April 13, 2015.

The intra-Asia service will now offer the following port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo and Shekou, China; Singapore, Karachi, Pakistan; Mundra and Hazira, Port Kelang, Malaysia; Singapore; Hong Kong; and back to Shanghai. The weekly service currently deploys five ships, including the 4,662-TEU YM Enlightenment inducted into Yang Ming's fleet in January this year.

Hong Kong-based OOCL said the new CPX rotation would provide the “very first direct connection from Hazira to Far East destinations.”

The first vessel to call the Hazira terminal in the upgraded schedule will be the OOCL Chicago, arriving on April 12.
