TOKYO: The theme of the 2020 NYK Report is “Total Innovation,” which emphasizes the Group’s measures to place ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) at the center of the NYK Group’s management and promote various initiatives to solve social issues to achieve sustainable growth.
In his message, NYK president Hitoshi Nagasawa emphasizes his strong belief in the Group’s mission and the value, as well as the significance of transforming the business structure into a sustainable one and creating new value in order to fuse the Group’s growth strategy with ESG.
In addition to messages from outside directors and chiefs of headquarters, a special section features a roundtable discussion between Eiji Oishi, President and CEO of Minna Denryoku Inc., and young NYK employees on the theme of “new possibilities and innovations that contribute to solving social issues through business activities.”
