MUMBAI: NTC Group's Founder's Day falls on Nov 3rd every year. It is the day the group celebrates the birthday of their Chairman and Founder
Dr. K. Chandramohan. On this day, Dr Chandramohan takes time to visit all the NTC Group offices and service centres in the city to be with the employees.
As an avid sports enthusiast, Dr Chandramohan inspires everyone to take up sports to live a healthy life and also lends a hand to talented athletes in rural areas to showcase their skill in the national and international arenas through Young Champions Sports Association.
Founder’s Day is not just about celebration but also about charity. Dr Chandramohan has adopted schools in rural areas and has also joined hands with NGOs to help needy students in over 20 schools in the most underdeveloped areas of Tamil Nadu. As part of the Founder’s Day charity, meals are served in these schools.
A celebration is held at orphanages supported by NTC Group where breakfast lunch and dinner will be served to children. Besides, food is distributed to the homeless in the regions of Chennai. This year, a blood donation camp is organized at the offices in the city to spread awareness of the significance of blood donation and contribute to saving more lives.

Dr K Chandramohan’s story of building his logistics empire is one such. The firmness in his purpose took Namakkal Transport Carriers from a small-scale General Transportation company with only one vehicle into NTC Logistics, a path-breaking pioneer in just 20 years.
Consequently, it led the company to own the 8th largest specialized fleet of transport vehicles and equipment in the world, ranked by ICT50 (2022). From NTC Logistics, it snowballed from strength to strength to provide ODC (Over Dimensional Cargo) & Project Logistics, Supply Chain & Warehousing, Renewable Energy EPC Solutions, Infrastructure, Cranes & Lifts, Automotive Components, Engineering & Manufacturing, Training & Development, Agro Farms & Products and eventually becoming the NTC Group, a conglomerate of 5,000 families.
