Guwahati - Northeast India is emerging as a potential logistics bridge connecting India, ASEAN and the Middle East, as international logistics companies explore opportunities to strengthen cargo movement, warehousing and multimodal connectivity through the region.
The development follows a high-level meeting on August 14 in Bangkok between Thailand-based SCGJWD Logistics and Dubai-headquartered Transworld Group, facilitated by the Emerging North-East Eco Forum (ENEEF). Discussions focused on potential cooperation in cargo transportation, warehousing, cold-chain infrastructure and multimodal logistics.
