New Delhi - Union Government on 10 November 2025 gave M. Angamuthu, an IAS officer and currently the Chairperson of the Mumbai Port Authority, an additional charge as Chairperson of Visakhapatnam Port Authority for a period of six months (w.e.f. 22.09.2025 to 21.03.2026).
It may be noted that Angamuthu was previously the Chairperson of VPA before being appointed as the Chairperson of Mumbai Port Authority in September 2025.
Angamuthu will remain the in-charge chairperson for VPA until a regular Chairperson is appointed for the port . . .
