MUMBAI: Mumbai Customs Zone I conducted a Seminar cojointly with Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers Association (BCBA) on 12.10.2022 for implementation of CBLMS, a step towards Digitization of CB records at Dayashankar Auditorium. More than 200 Custom Brokers attended the Seminar.
Shri Pramod Kumar Agrawal, Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone I gave an insightful address to the entire CB fraternity regarding the Dream of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for Digital India.
Dr. Deepak Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Customs, Dy Commissioners, Mr. Ashok Chakravarthy. Dr. Meva Ram Ola as well as Mr. Aditya Mahato & Mr. Rodrigues from Mumbai Customs Zone I gave a detailed Presentation to members which was very fruitful. The session was followed by a Q & A wherein members interacted with Customs Officials with their doubts regarding CBLMS. Mumbai Customs Zone 1 is the first Commissionerate in India directed by CBIC to implement the CBLMS project.
BCBA has pledged to Mumbai Customs in providing full support and a dedicated team to complete the registration of all Custom Brokers at Mumbai Custom Zone on priority. This step towards digitization shall reap multifold benefits for Custom Brokers.
