Chennai: India's micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) contributed nearly 30% to the country's GDP in FY25, up from post-Covid lows of 27.3% in FY21. This rise has been driven by increased formalisation, better access to institutional credit, and deeper integration into domestic and global value chains.
