SINGAPORE : The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration in maritime decarbonisation, digitalisation, innovation, and workforce development.The MOU was signed on May 25, 2026, by MPA Chief Executive Mr. Wee Keong Ang and MSC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Soren Toft.Under the agreement, MPA and MSC will explore new shipping routes and services to enhance maritime connectivity while supporting the adoption of alternative marine fuels, including bio-LNG. The partnership will also focus on advancing technologies aimed at improving vessel energy efficiency . . .
