MOU marks a significant step forward in supporting the health, well-being, and safety of India’s seafarers.

The Director General of Shipping in India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with global maritime charity Sailors‘ Society aimed at strengthening welfare services for the maritime sector in India.

Director General, Shri Shyam Jagannathan, said: “The partnership with Sailor’s Society - an esteemed international charity with over two centuries of expertise - will bring invaluable resources and support to the maritime community in India.
