Chennai - Shri Vijay Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), inaugurated the Trade Promotion Centre & VOC Port Guest House at Chennai in the presence of Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, and Shri Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Chairperson, along with senior officials of the Port. The newly inaugurated facilities are envisioned to strengthen trade facilitation, promote stakeholder engagement, and provide enhanced infrastructure support, contributing to port-led industrial and economic development of the region.
