NEW DELHI: Mr Mahesh Chandra Keyal has been unanimously elected the new Vice-President of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO). Mr Keyal, aged 59 years, is a Commerce Graduate from Calcutta University and hails from a very old established business family of Kolkata. He joined the family business at a very early age and carries with him vast business experience panning over 39 years.

Mr Keyal besides being the member of the FIEO Managing Committee, also currently holds several key positions including Chairman, Drawback and Taxation incl GST Committee, EEPC India; Chairman, Export Strategy Committee, EEPC (ER) and Chairman, Standing Committee on Foreign Trade, Merchant's Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kolkata. He has also been active on various issues related to the exports under GST and Foreign Trade Policy.
