Mumbai: The Maharashtra government is looking to implement measures to save its export-oriented industries and MSMEs from the impact of Trump’s tariffs and also unveil policy reforms to attract more industries to the state.

The state government has constituted a high-level task force, headed by retired IAS officer and former Maharashtra Industries Secretary Apurva Chandra, to assess the impact of tariff, to ensure that jobs are protected and to recommend how to help industries in Maharashtra from Trump’s tariffs.
