COPENHAGEN : Antonia Mærsk, the third large dual-fuel vessel in the fleet capable of operating on green methanol, was officially unveiled on 9 August in Aarhus, Denmark.
As recently announced, Maersk is advancing its fleet renewal program by signing newbuilding orders and time-charter contracts for dual-fuel vessels, aiming for an annual renewal pace of approximately 160,000 TEU. The ordered capacity will consist of a mix of owned and chartered vessels, ensuring financial and operational flexibility while maintaining a significant portion of strategic tonnage.
