Hyderabad - Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu recently directed the officials to establish a logistics corporation to facilitate cargo movement.
The proposed corporation should be the nodal agency for shipment of cargo through the ports, airports, inland waterways, road and railways, the Chief Minister said in a review meeting on infrastructural facilities in Amaravati.
Plans were currently underway to set up 20 new ports and airports in the State, Naidu said, satellite townships should be developed around ports and airports which would act as hubs of economic activity.
