MUMBAI : Shri L. Radhakrishnan, IAS Chairman, JNPT, conducted a meeting with the officials of M/s Boskalies International b.v. for the commencement of the most awaited dredging project of JNPT- MbPT channel as JNPT issued the Work Order to M/s Boskalis International b.v. for the Capital Dredging project.
The Capital Dredging awarded on Assured Depth basis, for the first time in the country for the 34km channel is expected to be completed within 25 months at an award price of Rs.1219/- crores plus service tax (12.36%).
The work is expected to start in couple of weeks (required for getting the approvals for the foreign dredgers from authorities like Defence / DG Shipping).
The mitting was also attend by Shri N.N.Kumar, IRS, Dy. Chairman, officials of JNPT,MbPT and M/s Boskalies International b.v.
