JNPCT sets new record by handling parcel size on mv Hyundai Singapore

JNPA seeks acquisition of 8.5 acres for Rail link
NAVI MUMBAI: The JNPCT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Container Terminal) has achieved a new record of handling a parcel size of 6,497 TEUs (5,076 Containers) on mv Hyundai Singapore on July 9, 2015 surpassing its earlier record of 6,063 TEUs (4500 Containers) on mv Hyundai Prestige which was set on 6th November 2014.
 
This is the largest parcel size ever handled by any of the terminals under JNPT ever since the inception of the Port. JN Port is the biggest container handling Port in India, which is poised to handle 10 million TEUs per annum by year 2020-21.
