

Mumbai, September 12th, 2025: Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA)- India’s Largest Container Port, in a landmark step towards sustainability, has declared that JNPA- Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has successfully transitioned to 100% green energy for its operations. The SEZ has entered into a new short-term open access agreement to procure 6.0 MW of grid-connected wind power, effective September 1, 2025, at a significantly reduced rate of Rs. 3.11/KWH.
