Navi Mumbai – In the year 2023, which was marked by Global Supply Chain disruption and Global Slowdown, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), renowned as India's best- performing port, under the dynamic Leadership of Shri Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman and Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Deputy Chairman created a new cargo handling record during last calendar year.

Terminal wise the cargo handling figures in Million TEUs for BMCT were 2.07, GTI were 1.51, NSICT were 1.18, NSIGT were 1.12 and NSFT were 0.44 for the last calendar year 2023. In all JNPA handled a total of 6.33 Million TEUs in 2023 as compared to 5.94 Million TEUs handled in previous corresponding year.
