Navi Mumbai - Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), in collaboration with Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), Indian Railways and Customs, has facilitated the first GS-17 Block Container Loading System (BLCS) rake from DICD Ludhiana to ICDD Dadri, carrying export containers destined for JNPA.
The new rail movement marks an important step towards strengthening the port’s hinterland connectivity and enhancing the efficiency of export cargo movement from northern India to the gateway port.
