Ahmedabad : JBS Academy signed a MOU with the Government of Gujarat to establish Skill Development Centres in 5 cities of Gujarat at the recently held Industry Responsive Skill Convention for making Gujarat a Skill hub by the Government of Gujarat as part of Vibrant Gujarat 2013.
The MOU lists the cities of Gandhidham, Ahmedabad, Surat, Gandhinagar, Ankleshwar, where JBS Academy shall undertake Skill Development of 12000 persons in Logistics and Port Sector. Additionally JBS shall also undertake Soft Skill Training at all the Centres. An investment of Rs 1.63 crores is envisaged and the project goes on line in 2013.
JBS Academy hopes to give to the Port Sector and the Logistics Industry Employable Graduates as well as undertake continual training in this sector.
Gujarat’s growth is linked to it’s robust Port Sector and good Logistic offerings. The sector will run well thru only professionally trained personnel.
JBS Academy shall offer trainings for every segment of Logistics.
The MOU was signed with the Industries Commissionerate / Directorate of Employment and Training by Mr. Samir J Shah Chief Mentor and Director in presence of the Hon Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendrabhai Modi on 20th September 2012.
