Mr Darshak Mehta appointed as India & Middle East Owners Rep.
MUMBAI: ITT – Intermodal Tank Transport (ISO Tank Operators) Appoints Owners Rep & New Agents in India.
Intermodal Tank Transport one of the leading global ISO Tank Operators headquartered in Houston, USA recently appointed their India & Middle East Representative – Mr Darshak Mehta and M/s CEL Logistics Pvt Ltd as their Operations Agent in India.
Mr Matt Caldwell – Commercial Vice President of ITT on a recent visit to Mumbai stated that Mr Darshak Mehta would be looking after all Commercial matters both in India and the Middle East and will coordinate and promote the interests of ITT commercially in the region.
He clarified that CEL Logistics Pvt Ltd will handle all operational matters and that he was extremely excited about this new dispensation in India and that he was quite sure this would enable ITT to both service their customers in a better manner as well as achieve the growth they were looking for in this market. Commenting further he said that India was a very important market for them and that the economy was expected to grow quite rapidly in the near future.
ITT a CDI – MPC Certified company currently operates 7000 ISO tanks Globally in over 60 countries with Own offices in 11 countries with over 170 staff and their own ISO Tank Depots in Colombia. Among the earliest or also can be said the first entrants into the South American ISO Tank market they are undoubtedly the market leaders in that region and have fast expanded globally.
They have added 1100 new tanks in the first 4 months of this year itself and are looking to add many more tanks during the balance part of the year. Their fleet of ISO tanks is among the youngest fleet among tank operators. They are amongst the most preferred ISO Tank Suppliers to the Chemical Giants of the World.
CEL Logistics Pvt Ltd their operations agent have a vast experience in representing ISO Tank Operators as their agents since more than 13 years. They have a well experienced and dedicated team only for ISO tank operations and for other principals in the past have handled large volumes.
A spokesperson for the company said that they too were very positive with this new agency and were confident of being able to build up a strong and regular volume for ITT.
Mr Darshak Mehta their Representative is well experienced in ISO Tank sales and marketing and knows ITT very well as he was associated with the earlier agents of ITT in India.
He believes ITT is a very strong and deep rooted company who is among the foremost suppliers of tanks to the chemical industry and will be able to service Indian clients very well on a long term basis.
