

New Delhi - Indian Railways has commissioned 118 Gati Shakti Multimodal Cargo Terminals across 18 states and union territories as of October 31, 2025.
“Strengthening India’s freight system with 118 Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals, reshaping freight movement with seamless multimodal connectivity and lower logistics costs nationwide,” the Ministry of Railways said in a post on X.
The railway ministry had set a target of 100 terminals by the end of the financial year 2024-25 under the Gati Shakti Multimodal Cargo Terminal Policy.
