Indian Railways 1st Exclusive Container Rail Terminal (ECRT) inaugurated at Unjha, Gujarat

Mehsana: Indian Railways’ first Exclusive Container Rail Terminal (ECRT) was inaugurated lasts week at Unjha in Mehsana district. State Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel, local MP Hari Patel, and local MLA Kirit Patel flagged off the first container train loaded with cumin, isabgol, and other spices from Unjha Terminal to Mundra Port Cargo Complex.

A railway spokesperson stated that this marks a historic and proud achievement for the Ahmedabad Division. Unjha, known as the cumin capital of India, has long been a major hub for spice and agricultural trade, significantly contributing to the economy of Gujarat and India . . .
