India and France strengthen Maritime Partnership

NEW DELHI : India and France took significant steps toward enhancing their maritime partnership during a high-level meeting held on November 27, 2024, in New Delhi. The discussions centered on deepening bilateral cooperation in maritime security, sustainable ocean governance, and advancing collaborative opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region.

The meeting was held to discuss potential collaborations between India & France on maritime trade. Indian delegation was led by Secretary MoPSW Shri. T K Ramachandran while France was represented by Mr. Gérard Mestrallet, Emmanue lMacron’s
