
New Delhi - Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu has said that government aims to triple the country’s air cargo volume by 2030. The current air cargo volume of country is around 3.5 million metric tonnes. Speaking at the inauguration of new sectors under the Trans Cargo Security Hold Area to enhance Air Cargo Connectivity from Delhi Airport today, Mr Naidu said that the reform aims to simplify the movement of cargo between domestic and international destinations through an intermediate airport.
