Mumbai, January 02, 2025: Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) - India's largest container port reported a consistent rise in cargo handling during the calendar year 2025, with growth recorded across container and overall cargo segments. For the calendar year 2025, container throughput at JNPA stood at 7.94 million TEUs, registering a 12.64% increase compared to 7.05 million TEUs handled in calendar year 2024. Overall cargo throughput during CY 2025 reached 99.17 Million Metric Tonnes (MMT), reflecting a 9.86% rise over 90.27 MMT handled in the previous year.
