Hyundai Merchant Marine Vessel makes Maiden call of CIX service at Mundra

MUMBAI: Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) vessel m.v. HYUNDAI CONFIDENCE under China India Express Service (CIX Service) berthed at Mundra Port on 3rd February 2017.
 
HMM have deployed 4 vessels of 5000 TEUs on the CIX Service with following port rotation : Mundra – Port Kelang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Da Chan Bay – Kwangyang – Busan – Shanghai – Ningbo  –  Shekou.
 
Hyundai is committed in meeting the various logistical needs of the trade by increasing its recognition and brand power in India.
 
With this new service Hyundai is confident that customers will be immensely benefited from this service frequency and ports coverage among China/South East Asia/ US East and West Coast Ports. Hyundai will also accept 40 feet Reefer and Special Equipment.
 
A reception was organised on the Hyundai Vessel for celebrating its maiden voyage. Mr. Young Dong Park, Managing Director - HMM, Mr. Yogesh Parekh, Director - Seabridge Maritime, Mr. Kaushik Datta Sharma, Sr. VP, Liner Division - Parekh Group, Mr. Mitesh Dharamshi, General Manager - Parekh Group along with senior officials from Adani Port were present on the occasion. The Master of the vessel and Mr. Y.D. Park cut the cake on this auspicious occasion.
 
Mr. Y.D. Park of HMM presented a memento to the Master of the vessel in the presence of Dignitaries and other officials from Parekh Group and Adani.
 
The launch of the CIX service from Mundra will meet the longstanding demand of Hyundai’s customers to provide a reliable and dedicated service. The first voyage received an encouraging response from the trade.
