New Delhi - In a landmark development for India’s logistics and freight sector, Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has established rail connectivity for the Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) at Varnama with the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) at New Makarpura Yard. This milestone was marked by the arrival of the first double-stack container train from CONCOR’s Multi-Modal Logistics Parks at Khatuwas and Dadri, setting the stage for a new era in efficient and sustainable cargo movement.
